Abstract Worlds number three and thoughts about artistic style

So as I eagerly photograph Abstract Worlds work number three Gliding though the clouds. I really stop and think whether it is ‘good enough’.

While my other style hasn’t resonated well with people, (I would really like to go back and continue the “From the Dark” series just for myself) I thought a change of medium might help me creatively and find my niche, or just some people wanting to buy art?

Looking at sites like Bluethumb I know what it ‘popular’ and it’s so hard to stand out with a different style and little to no sales, but I’m not looking to replicate someone else’s style or themes.

I’m sure I’m not overly original and what I have done has probably been done somewhere but I’m not going to look for it and copy that.

I guess I’m trying to say that I need to experiment with materials myself and just hope that someone else likes what I do. Which is not great business sense but I’ve never been great at that part of being an artist.

I think I will continue to post my thoughts here so you can read the thought processes behind the art.

I also thought I would start sharing some phone wall papers with motivational words, let me know what you think?

It might help you and it might help me get through this crazy life!
