Continuing my "from the dark" series I explored the juxtaposition of minimal swathes of colour and a highly textured section to draw the viewers eyes around the canvas without overwhelming them.
Working in a larger piece was a little bit of a challenge as I needed to balance these elements but I think this was a successful piece.
I believe the balance of colours are subtle and will be an eye catching piece in any place in the home.
