While doing texture studies for the commission of the advertising material for 88 Cambridge Street in Collingwood, I first tried out this Gessoboard material and added my texture for the ‘art’ brief which was a simple brushstroke. This texture was too much but a great starting point for using the Gessoboard.

It is small, sturdy and would look great in a float frame behind glass or without glass.
