This is a fine art print of my digital drawing “Orchid”, I was gifted an orchid plant and I wanted to capture the delicate colours in my illustration style. I’m not very good at flower details but I believe it captures the beauty of them.

The A5 print size is roughly 15 X 19cm, A4 is 21 x 29.7cm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches.
What is a giclee print?
A giclee print, also called a fine art print, is the closest duplication of an artwork that is physically possible.
It uses pigment-based inks in a wide format printer which is then printed on archival material.
I use Epson Cold Press Bright paper (340GSM for A4 and 310GSM for A3) that has been designed for museum quality photographic and fine art work. It is manufactured from 100% cotton that is acid, lignin and chlorine free with ph buffering for superb durability and print stability.
Produced in a cold-press method for a soft finish, it features a coating that has been optimised for Epson UltraChrome pigment Inks. It has a bright white surface that delivers beautiful tonal transitions.
I use Epson UltraChrome K3 inks which are archival for over 100 years when stored behind glass or away from direct sunlight.
