DELPHIC - Giclee Fine Art Print

from $20.00

Delphic
adj, deliberately obscure or ambiguous.

This is a print of my original painting which I feel is like viewing the ocean floor, the subtle light from above dancing on the sandy textured floor. It seems to be not too deep, maybe a rock pool? Maybe something a little deeper that you have to hold your breath to get to.

Either way it’s something interesting to look at.

Framing is for illustrative purposes only. You will receive an archival print only.

A5 is 14.8 x 21cm or 5.8 x 8.2 inches
A4 is 21 x 29.7cm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches
A3 is 29.7 x 42cm or 11.7 x 16.5 inches

What is a giclee print?

A giclee print, also called a fine art print, is the closest duplication of an artwork that is physically possible.

It uses pigment-based inks in a wide format printer which is then printed on archival material.

I use Epson Cold Press Bright paper (340GSM for A4 and 310GSM for A3) that has been designed for museum quality photographic and fine art work. It is manufactured from 100% cotton that is acid, lignin and chlorine free with ph buffering for superb durability and print stability.

Produced in a cold-press method for a soft finish, it features a coating that has been optimised for Epson UltraChrome pigment Inks. It has a bright white surface that delivers beautiful tonal transitions.

I use Epson UltraChrome K3 inks which are archival for over 100 years when stored behind glass or away from direct sunlight.
