CONNECTION - Giclee Fine Art Print

from $20.00

I had an idea to take on of my previous works style "variegated" and make it a little larger.
At first I wanted to copy the pale pastel colours but being a bigger work I wanted to try for more impact. I mixed colours together (green with blue, red with purple, purple with red and blue with green) to deepen the areas and to try and 'make the connection'.
The lines and flow originally came from an idea of leaves blowing in the wind but in the end it looked like a magical force connecting the areas.
I hope this has an impact on you as it does me.

Each print will have my artists signature on the front in pencil.

A4 is 21 x 29.7cm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches
A5 is 14.8 x 21cm or 5.8 x 8.2 inches
A3 is 29.7 x 42cm or 11.7 x 16.5 inches

What is a giclee print?

A giclee print, also called a fine art print, is the closest duplication of an artwork that is physically possible.

It uses pigment-based inks in a wide format printer which is then printed on archival material.

I use Epson Cold Press Bright paper (340GSM for A4 and 310GSM for A3) that has been designed for museum quality photographic and fine art work. It is manufactured from 100% cotton that is acid, lignin and chlorine free with ph buffering for superb durability and print stability.

Produced in a cold-press method for a soft finish, it features a coating that has been optimised for Epson UltraChrome pigment Inks. It has a bright white surface that delivers beautiful tonal transitions.

I use Epson UltraChrome K3 inks which are archival for over 100 years when stored behind glass or away from direct sunlight.
